Based in Pocahontas, Sara Boysen resides on her family farm with her husband, Chad, and their eight children. A dedicated healthcare professional, she serves as a Nurse Practitioner at Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. Sara earned her clinical credentials through Iowa Lakes Community College, Washington Adventist University, and Frontier Nursing University. 

Deeply committed to civic leadership, Sara serves on the Pocahontas School Board, the Palo Alto County Hospital Board, and the local Fine Arts Board. Her dedication to community service extends to her roles as a Girl Scout leader and a CCD instructor. Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, she enjoys gardening, sewing, and canning, as well as snow and water skiing with her family. Sara is driven by a lifelong passion for enhancing the health and well-being of her community.
